The Classical saxophone - the method of creating the sound and the methodical notes on teaching

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá hráčskými dovednostmi, které jsou potřebné k tvorbě kvalitního saxofonového zvuku v oblasti klasické hudby. U každé je popsáno její správné provedení, postup nácviku, a nejčastější chyby včetně možných příčin a návrhů na jejich odstranění. V práci je také brán zřetel na aktuální světový trend v oblasti klasického saxofonového zvuku, tzv. techniku vysokého hrdla. Práce může sloužit jako metodický materiál či doplněk pro hráče nebo pedagogy zabývající se hrou na klasický saxofon.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the playing skills which are needed to production a good-quality saxophone sound in the field of classical music. For each field, there is the explanation, the instructions for exercising and also the most common mistakes are described there, including possible causes and suggestions for their elimination. The work also concers with the current world trend in the field of the classical saxophone sound, the so-called high throat technique. The work can serve as a methodological material or supplement for players or teachers interested in playing the classical saxophone.
