Urbanonymy of the Modern city - Havířov

Abstract:

Tato práce pojednává o standardizované a nestandardizované urbanonymii města Havířova od dob založení (1955) dodnes. Zabývá se motivy, které byly užity při pojmenování objektů a zkoumá míru zastoupení těchto motivů v rámci jednotlivých městských částí a v rámci jednotlivých časových úseků. Pozornost věnuje konkrétním změnám jednotlivých jmen. V další části se věnuje toponymům nestandardizovaným, která užívají obyvatelé pro orientaci ve městě. Také v této části se zaměřuje na motivy, které jsou u tvoření nestandardizovaných toponym užity, a jejich zastoupení v rámci jednotlivých městských částí a také v rámci jednotlivých generací. Materiálovým zdrojem jsou mapy a rozhovory s místními obyvateli - poštovními doručovateli. Dle teorie Jaromíra Krška existují sociální toponyma. Tuto hypotézu jsme zkoumali v souvislosti s profesními toponymy a nepotvrdila se. V teoretické části práce vysvětlujeme pojem urbanonymie a urbanonymum a krátce se věnujeme městu Havířov a jeho názvu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is dealing with standardized and unstandardized urban parts of Havířov from establishment of the city until now. It pursues motives which were used when naming these premises and examine the level of representation of these motives within individual urban parts and within individual period. The attention is also devoted to exact changes of individual names. In this part we orient ourselves to motives which are used with creation of unstandardized toponyms and their representation within individual urban parts but also within individual generations. The sources for this work will include maps and interview with local inhabitants - postmen. There is a theory by Jaromír Krško regarding social toponyms. We researched this hypothesis in the context of professional toponyms and it hasn´t been confirmed. In the theoretical part we explain terms such as urbanonymy, urbanonymum and shortly, we focus on the town of Havířov and its name.
