This diploma thesis deals with three Czech translations of Ernest Thompson Seton’s novel Two Little Savages. The main objective of this thesis is to analyse translation of binomial nomenclature. It aims to answer questions such as if the translators man-aged to translate the terms correctly, whether they omitted some terms or substitut-ed them with others that are not present in the source text.
