Agile Methodologies of Software Development

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá agilními metodikami vývoje softwaru. Začíná vysvětlením rozdílu mezi agilními a tradičními metodikami a popsáním některých tradičních metodik, aby bylo dále s čím porovnávat. V další části se zaměřuje na tři vybrané agilní metodiky (Scrum, Feature driven development a Extrémní programování) a tyto metodiky podrobně popisuje. Jiné agilní metodiky jsou pouze uvedeny s krátkým popisem nejdůležitějších principů. Pro vybrané tři agilní metodiky je vytvořen ukázkový projekt a na něm je demonstrováno jejich použití. V závěru jsou tyto metodiky navzájem porovnány a tím je usnadněn případný výběr, kterou metodiku v dané situaci použít.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with agile software development methodologies. It begins with explaining the difference between agile and traditional methodologies and describing some of the traditional ones to have some base to work on. In the next part, it is focused on three chosen agile methodologies (Scrum, Feature driven development, Extreme programming) a this methodologies are described there. Other agile methodologies are only listed and a brief describtion of theirs fundamentals is given. There is an exemplary project created for the three chosen methodologies and the use of them is demonstrated on it. In the end is comparison of these methodologies which can be useful when deciding which methodology to use in particular situation.
