Percepcion of Virtual Identity on the Social Network Instagram as a Project in Art Education at Secondary Schools

Abstract:

V dnešním reálném světě, jsme téměř stále připojeni ke světu online. Můžeme mezi sebou komunikovat nepřetržitě, a kdy chceme. Internet nám poskytuje částečnou anonymitu, zábavu nebo navazování nových kontaktů a proto počet uživatelů internetu a sociálních médií stále stoupá. Cílem této práce je vypracovat školní projekt na téma vnímání virtuální identity na sociální síti Instagram, jehož hlavní myšlenkou je seznámení žáků s možnými způsoby práce s obrazem, který je v podobě fotografií hlavním vyjadřovacím prostředkem této platformy. Dílčí aktivity projektu a jejich reflexe prostřednictvím metody diskuze, by měly vést žáka k zamyšlení se nad možnou manipulací obrazem na sociálních sítích. Práce na základě realizace projektu určuje motivace žáků, které je k užívání sociálních médií vedou, a zjišťuje, jak žáci vnímají vytváření virtuální identity prostřednictvím fotografií.

Abstract:

In today's real world, we are almost always connected to the world online. We can communicate with each other continuously and when we want to. The Internet gives us partial anonymity, fun, or new contacts, so the number of Internet and social media users is rising. The aim of this work is to develop a school project on perception of virtual identity on the social network Instagram, whose main idea is to introduce pupils to possible ways of working with the image, which is the main expression tool of this platform in the form of photographs. Partial activities of the project and their reflection through the discussion method should lead the pupil to think about possible image manipulation on social networks. Project-based work determines the motivation of pupils to use social media and identifies how pupils perceive the creation of virtual identity through photos.
