Radiotherapy for prostate cancer ? the role of radiology assistant at influencing the toxicity of radiotherapy
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na možnosti radioterapie karcinomu prostaty. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty všeobecné znalosti o používaných technikách radioterapie prostaty a jejich nežádoucích účincích. Praktická část popisuje na souboru 75 pacientů s karcinomem prostaty základní epidemiologická data, typ radioterapie (zevní, brachyterapie) a frekvenci nežádoucích účinků radioterapie.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis is focused on the options of radiotherapy for prostate cancer. The theoretical part sumerizes general knowledge of radiotherapy techniques and its side effects. The practical part describes basic epidemiological data, type of radiotherapy (external, brachytherapy) and frequency of side effects of group of 75 patients with prostate cancer.
