Práce se věnuje tématu polarizace světla, konkrétně jeho využití v optometrii, běžném životě a laboratorních experimentech. V první části jsou popsány základní teorie světla, jejichž vývoj byl spojen s objevováním světa na atomární úrovni. The thesis deals with the topic of polarization of light, specifically with its usage in optometry, everyday life and laboratory experiments. The first part presents basic theories of light, whose development was interconnected with discovering the world at the atomic level.
