Abstract:

Tato práce se zaměřuje na stereotypní a xenofobní postoje studentů sociální práce. Teoretickou část otevírá téma jinakosti a problémy s jejím přijetím. První kapitola se zaměřuje na vnímání odlišností a dichotomizací světa na vlastní a cizí skupinu. Dále pojednává o vzniku stereotypů, xenofobie a homofobie, které s problematikou jinakosti úzce souvisí. Druhá kapitola obsahuje koncepci postojů a techniky jejich měření. Následně jsou postoje specifikovány směrem k vybraným skupinám – lidé s tělesným postižením, příslušníci romské menšiny a lidé s homosexuální orientací. Teoretickou část uzavírá téma sociální práce. Tato kapitola se také zaměřuje na přístupy sociální práce s menšinami reprezentující jinakost a vliv stereotypů a předsudků na sociálního pracovníka. Empirická část obsahuje kvantitativní empirický výzkum, který je zaměřený na studenty sociální práce a jejich stereotypní postoje k vybraným skupinám (lidé s tělesným postižením, příslušníci romské menšiny a lidé s homosexuální orientací). Výzkum byl realizován pomocí tří dotazníkových šetření, které zahrnovaly hodnotící škály a Bogardusovu škálu sociální distance odpovídající typu zvolené skupiny. Výběr těchto skupin vychází z Goffmana, který definoval tři druhy stigmatu (odlišnosti).

Abstract:

The research is focused on the stereotypical xenophobic attitudes of students of social work. The theme of otherness and problems with its adoption is opening the theoretical part. The first chapter is focused on the perceived differences and dichotomy between own and foreign group. Further it discusses the formation of stereotypes, xenophobia and homophobia that are closely related together with otherness. The second chapter contains the concept of attitudes and their measurement techniques. Subsequently the attitudes are specified towards selected groups - people with disabilities, members of the Romany minority and people with a homosexual orientation. The theoretical part is concluded by the topic of social work. This chapter is also focused on attitudes to social work with minorities representing otherness and the influence of stereotypes and prejudices on the social worker. The empirical part contains the quantitative empirical survey which is focused on the students of social work and their stereotypical attitudes to the selected groups (people with disabilities, members of the Romany minority and people with a homosexual orientation). The survey was conducted via three questionnaires, which included rating scales and Bogardus social distance scale corresponding to the type of selected group. The selection of these groups comes from Goffman, who defined three kinds of stigma (differences).
