Diplomová práce podrobně popisuje dějovou linii románu Jméno růže od Umberta Eca a porovnává ji s filmovou a divadelní adaptací téhož díla. Adaptace jsou s originálem srovnávány především po stránce obsahové, ale práce se snaží zmapovat i mimodějové linie románu, především filozofii, estetiku, teologii a politiku. Abstract:
This thesis describes in detail the storyline of the novel Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco, and compares it with film and theater adaptations of the same work. An adaptation of the original are compared mainly in terms of content, but the work is trying to map lines philosophy, aesthetics, theology and politics.
