The European Central bank and it s role in the European Currency Union

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to bring the activities of the European Central Bank and i tis role in the European currency union. Explain the strategic for the entire banking system in the European Union. Bringing the banking system define the role of the National Bank of Slovakia before the accession of Slovakia into the euro zone and the entry of Slovakia into the zone. Defines price stability – the main objective of the Eurosystem and its benefits. We will task the ECBs monetary policy strategy, monetary policy instruments, which apply to their operations.

Abstract:

Cieľom bakalárskej práce je priblížiť činnosť Európskej centrálnej banky a jej úlohu v Európskej menovej únii. Vysvetliť jej stra¬tegický význam pre celý bankový systém v Európskej únii. Priblížiť bankový systém, definovať úlohu Národnej banky Slovenska pred vstupom Slovenska do Eurozóny a po vstupe Slovenska do Eurozóny. Definujeme cenovú stabilitu – hlavný cieľ eurosystému a jej výhody. Priblížime úlohu stratégie menovej politiky ECB, nástroje menovej politiky, ktoré aplikuje pri svojej činnosti.
