Preparation of a business plan for a new social enterprise in Ústí nad Labem Region

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je sestavit podnikatelský plán nového sociálního podniku v Ústeckém kraji. Předmětem podnikání je poskytování sociálně-terapeutických služeb mladistvým a vychovatelům v dětských domovech, které povedou k lepší přípravě chovanců dětských domovů na reálný život, a podpoří je ve startu do úspěšného osamostatnění se, uplatnění se na trhu práce, a dalšího osobnostního i profesního rozvoje. K naplnění tohoto cíle je nejprve metodologicky uvedena filozofie a pozadí služby, následně je podnikatelská příležitost validována na základě několika druhů analýz prostředí podniku (PESTLE, Porterova analýza pěti sil, SWOT). Práce komplexně zhodnocuje podnikatelské prostředí Ústeckého kraje a cílový trh. Myšlenka služby se zakládá na dlouhodobém pozorování nedostatků v současném přístupu k práci s cílovou skupinou, která je ohrožená znevýhodněním na trhu práce a ve společnosti obecně. Podnikatelský plán obsahuje všechny důležité komponenty, do kterých je čtenář na základě rešerše uveden v teoretické části, a to včetně posouzení realizovatelnosti skrze sestavení finančního plánu a návrhu zdrojů trvale udržitelného financování. Podnikatelský plán je vyhodnocen jako realizovatelný a udržitelný.

Abstract:

The aim of the master thesis is to develop a business plan for a new social enterprise in Ústí nad Labem region. The social business will provide social and therapeutic services to adolescents and mentors in children's homes, leading to better preparation of children's home inmates for real life, and supporting their successful independence and lifelong personal development. To achieve this goal, the philosophy and background of the service are first methodologically introduced, then the business opportunity is validated based on several types of business environment analyses (PESTLE, Porter's five forces analysis, SWOT). The work comprehensively evaluates the business environment and target market. The concept of the service is based on a long-term observation of the deficiencies in the current approach to working with the defined target group. The business plan includes all the important components which are briefly presented in the theoretical part of the thesis through literature review, and later applied to the business idea itself. The business plan also features the assessment of feasibility through the financial plan and a sustainable fundraising proposal. The business plan has been evaluated to be feasible and sustainable.
