Car rental industry market with focus on company Czechocar a.s.

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza působení společnosti Czechocar a.s. na domácím trhu. Práce se ale také zaměřuje na trh pronájmu motorových vozidel jako celek. V rámci první kapitoly je cílem představit americký trh, který je v této oblasti jednoznačně nejrozvinutější a udává trendy celému světu. Dále se také práce zabývá mimořádně silným postavením nadnárodních společností v oboru. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na společnost Czechocar a.s. a na konkrétních příkladech uvádí základní principy a specifika pronájmu motorových vozidel. Pozornost je věnována především organizační struktuře společnosti a jednotlivým zákaznickým skupinám. Třetí kapitola popisuje zapojení společnosti Czechocar a.s. na mezinárodní úrovní a její nedávný vstup do franchisingové sítě Enterprise Holdings.

Abstract:

Aim of this bachelor thesis is analysis of operation of the company Czecocar a.s. on the car rental industry market in the Czech Republic. This thesis also focuses on the car rental market as a whole. In the first chapter the aim is to introduce the US market which is in this area the most developed and sets trends for the whole world. This thesis also focuses on the extraordinarily strong position of the international companies in this area. The second chapter describes company Czechocar a.s. and on concrete examples states the basic principles and specificity of the car rental industry. Special attention is applied to the organisational structure and customer groups. The third chapter describes involvment of the company Czechocar a.s. on the international level and it's recent entry to franchising structures of Enterprise Holdings.
