Design of Special autotransformer

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce pojednává o návrhu speciálního autotransformátoru pro ochranu žárovek ve světelném obvodu motocyklu Jawa 555. Jeho návrh spočívá ve vysvětlení principu činnosti autotransformátoru, vzniku magnetického toku v magnetickém obvodu a jeho využití pro převod autotransformátoru do pracovního režimu tlumivky. Samotný návrh sestává z výpočtu elektrických parametrů a návrhu mechanické konstrukce jednotlivých komponentů. Při jejich návrhu byl kladen důraz na omezený zástavbový prostor a konečný vzhled. Značná část práce je zaměřena na popis fyzického zhotovení navrženého autotransformátoru a provedení měření pro ověření jeho činnosti. Součástí měření bylo dílčí měření pro ověření charakteristik použitých světelných zdrojů. Hlavní část měření spočívala v nasimulování tří možných provozních stavů. Stav bez poruchy, porucha předního světlometu a porucha zadního světlometu. V bezporuchovém stavu byl ověřován režim práce autotransformátor, v poruchových stavech režim práce tlumivka. Bylo zjištěno, že díl v případě potřeby plynule a spolehlivě přechází mezi oběma provozními stavy. Výsledky měření byly graficky znázorněny za pomoci časových průběhů, závislostí na napájecím napětí a fázorovým diagramem. V závěru práce je zhodnoceno, že použití vyrobeného dílu slouží jako vhodná ochrana, avšak výrobně poměrně složitá. Je taktéž navrženo, v jakých částech by bylo vhodné konstrukci změnit pro případ manuální výroby většího množství kusů.

Abstract:

The presented diploma thesis deals with the design of a special autotransformer for the protection of light bulbs in the lighting circuit of the Jawa 555 motorcycle. Its design consists in explaining the principle of operation of the autotransformer, the generation of magnetic flux in the magnetic circuit, and its use for converting the autotransformer into the working mode of the choke. The design itself consisted of the calculation of electrical parameters and the design of the mechanical construction of individual components. During their design, emphasis was placed on the limited building space and the final appearance. A significant part of the work is focused on describing the physical construction of the proposed autotransformer and performing measurements to verify its operation. Part of the measurement was a partial measurement to verify the characteristics of the used light sources. The main part of the measurement consisted in simulating three possible operating states. No fault condition, front headlight fault and rear headlight fault. In a fault-free state, the autotransformer operating mode was verified, in a faulted state, the choke operating mode was verified. The part was found to transition smoothly and reliably between both operating states when needed. The measurement results were graphically represented with the help of time courses, dependence on the supply voltage and a phasor diagram. At the end of the work, the use of the manufactured part as a suitable protection is evaluated. However, production is quite complex. It is also proposed in which parts of the structure it would be appropriate to change in the case of manual production of a larger number of pieces.
