A comparative study of Tiecks early fairy-tales

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis compares the early fairy-tales by Ludwig Tieck, especially upon the confrontation of the major characters. The first part of the work explains the period of romanticism, the genre of the art-tale and the personality of L. Tieck. The main part compares the major characters in the art-tales „Der blonde Eckbert“, „Der Runenberg“ and „Der getreue Eckert und der Tannenhäuser“.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Tiecks frühe Kunstmärchen im Vergleich“ se zabývá ranými pohádkami Ludwiga Tiecka, především na základě srovnání hlavních postav. Teoretická část se věnuje epoše romantismu, umělé pohádce a osobnosti L. Tiecka. V části praktické jsou rozebrány autorovy rané pohádky „Der blonde Eckbert“, „Der Runenberg“ a „Der getreue Eckert und der Tannenhäuser“.
