Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje analýze užívání kurzivy a uvozovek v publikaci „Ur-gences pastorales du moment présent“ autora Christopha Theobalda z pohledu pře-kladu. Jejím cílem je určit, zda a jak by tato grafická značení měla být převáděna do českého překladu. Práce zároveň zkoumá, nakolik jsou kurziva a uvozovky využívány z důvodu intertextuality. Teoretická část obsahuje rozbor užívání kurzivy a uvozovek na základě české a francouzské literatury. V této části je rovněž definována intertex-tualita a její možné dělení. Praktická část se zabývá konkrétními příklady z Theobal-dovy knihy, člení je do kategorií a zkoumá užití grafického značení z pohledu inter-textuality a překladu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the use of italic types and quotation marks in the publication “Urgences pastorales du moment present” by the author Christoph Theobald from the point of view of translation. Its aim is to determine whether and how these graphic markings should be translated into Czech translation. The thesis also researches the extent to which italic types and quotation marks are used due to intertextuality. The theoretical part contains an analysis of the use of ital-ic types and quotation marks based on Czech and French literature. This section also defines intertextuality and its possible division. The practical part deals with specific examples from Theobald's book, divides them into categories and examines graphic markings in terms of intertextuality and translation.
