Vietnamese employment in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu implementace a adaptace vietnamských imigrantů na českém trhu práce i se všemi legislativními podmínkami týkající se zaměstnávání Vietnamců, od vysvětlení základních pojmů, po veškeré právní aspekty potřebné k legálnímu fungování v zaměstnavatelské sféře, zmínka je taktéž o podnikatelské činnosti této menšiny. Opomenuty nezůstaly ani vietnamsko-české vztahy, uzavřené bilaterální smlouvy a počátky těchto vztahů. Praktická část je řešena formou rozhovorů a následnému porovnávání první a druhé generace.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on implementation and adaptation of Vietnamese immigrants to the Czech labor market including all legislative conditions regarding employing of the Vietnamese, starting by explaining the meanings of basic terms all the way to complex legal aspects which are crucial for legal functioning on the employer's side. Business activities of this minority are also mentioned as well as Czech-Vietnamese relations since their beginnings including bilateral treaties. For the practical part, interviews and comparison of two generations were chosen.
