International context of the War in Ukraine

Anotácia:

Bakalářská práce se zaobírá širokým spektrem faktorů, které napomohly k eskalaci a průběhu konfliktu války na Ukrajině, na jež se obrátila pozornost veřejnosti a mezinárodních aktérů. Práce se zaměřuje na historické reálie napjatých vztahů multiraterálního systému. Dále se věnuje politickým, ekonomickým a bezpečnostním kontextům války, s důrazem na mezinárodní reakce a dopady. Analyzovány jsou historické, geopolitické a kulturní rozepře v souvislosti příčin vzniku tohoto konfliktu. Zároveň se tato práce zaměřuje na predikce několika možných scénářů tohoto konfliktu. Bakalářská práce představuje komplexní pohled na problematiku a nabízí náhledy, které mohou ovlivnit budoucí mezinárodní vztahy a bezpečnostní politiku na globální úrovni.

Abstract:

The thesis examines a wide range of factors that have contributed to the escalation and course of the conflict in Ukraine, which have come to the attention of the public and international actors. The thesis focuses on the historical realities of the strained relations of the multi-stakeholder system. It also examines the political, economic and security contexts of the war, with an emphasis on international responses and impacts. The historical, geopolitical and cultural controversies surrounding the causes of the conflict are analyzed. At the same time, this thesis focuses on predictions of several possible scenarios of this conflict. The thesis presents a comprehensive view of the issue and offers insights that may influence future international relations and security policy at the global level.
