Providing crisis intervention in emergency situations from the perspective of a crisis worker

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Poskytování krizové intervence při mimořádných událostech pohledem krizového pracovníka" má teoreticko-empirický charakter. V teoretické části se v rámci třech prvních kapitol definuje odborná metoda krizové intervence jako zdroj podpory a provázení, vymezuje se mimořádná událost s charakteristikou zasažených a specifiky poskytování krizové intervence při této události, a je zde také věnován prostor osobě krizového pracovníka, který tuto metodu využívá. Empirická část bakalářské práce shrnuje výzkumné šetření založené na kvalitativní strategii, jehož cílem bylo zmapování prožívání krizového pracovníka při poskytování krizové intervence u mimořádných událostí. K naplnění cíle byly realizovány hloubkové rozhovory s krizovými pracovníky.

Abstract:

The bachelor’s thesis titled “Providing crisis intervention in emergency situation from the perspective of a crisis worker” has a twofold character – theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part, containing three chapters, defines the specialized method of crisis intervention used as a source of support and guidance, spells out the characteristics of emergency situations as well as the victims and the particulars of providing crisis intervention during such events, and in addition focuses on personal aspects of a crisis worker who makes use of the method. The empirical part sums up the research effort based on a qualitative strategy and its aim which was to explore the area of actual perceived experience of an emergency situation from the perspective of a crisis worker who is using the method of crisis intervention. In order to achieve the aim, in-depth interviews were carried out with crisis workers.
