An Information System for Tourism based on Web Services Combination

Anotácia:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá navržením systému pro poskytování turisty využitelných informací. Jádrem systému je webová mapa, ve které jsou tematické informace i referenční báze získávány kombinací veřejně dostupných webových služeb. V první části jsou uvedeny rešerše podobných existujících aplikací. Následuje popis použitých technologií a datových zdrojů. Těžištěm práce je vlastní implementace a testování aplikace.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with designing a system for providing tourists usable information. The core of the system is the web-based map in which thematic information and reference base are taken from the combination of publicly available web services. The first section describes the research of similar existing applications. The following is a description of the technologies and data sources. The focus of the work is its own implementation and testing of application.
