Current Trends of Tour Operators and Travel Agencies on the Market in the Czech Republic

Anotácia:

Bakalářská práce na téma Aktuální trendy na trhu cestovních kanceláří a cestovních agentur v České republice je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. Teoretická část se zabývá zejména trhem cestovního ruchu, jeho specifiky a pojmy cestovní kancelář a cestovní agentura. Dále popisuje utváření nabídky a poptávky na tomto trhu, stručně jsou zde také představeny orgány koordinace a profesní asociace cestovního ruchu v České republice. Neméně důležitou součástí první kapitoly je definování aktuálních trendů na straně nabídky. Analytická část nejprve stručně popisuje historický vývoj cestovních kanceláří a cestovních agentur a následně pojednává o problematice konkurence německých cestovních kanceláří. V druhé kapitole je za pomoci bazických a řetězových indexů nastíněn vývoj počtu cestovních kanceláří a cestovních agentur v České republice mezi lety 2003 – 2012. Stěžejní součástí analytické části je analýza konkrétní cestovní agentury ČambiTour. Pozornost je zaměřena hlavně na nové trendy v propagaci této cestovní agentury. Návrhová část se snaží navrhnout řešení velkého výkyvu počtu prodaných zájezdů ČambiTour během roku.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis on Current Trends of Tour Operators and Travel Agencies on the Market in the Czech Republic is divided into three parts. Theoretical part deals with tourism market, its specifics and concepts of tour operator and travel agency. It also describes the formation of supply and demand in this market, there are also briefly introduced coordination authorities and professional associations of tourism in the Czech Republic. Another important part of first chapter is defining the current trends on the supply side. At first analytical part briefly describes historical development of tour operators and travel agencies and then is focused on issue of competition of German travel agencies. The second chapter is analogy the development of tour operators and travel agencies between years 2003 – 2012 in the Czech Republic thanks to basic and chain indexes. The crucial part of analytical part is the analysis of travel agency ČambiTour. Attention is focused on new trends in the promotion of this travel agency. Proposal part is trying to suggest ČambiTour a solution of big fluctuation of sold tours during the year.
