Role and position of the party Die Linke party system in the Federal Republic of Germany (analysis of political parties in terms of the theory of coalitions)

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, jaká je současná role a pozice strany a jaké jsou důvody jejího postavení v německém stranickém systému. Teoretická část čtenáře seznámila konceptem antisystémovosti spolu s teorií koalice, přičemž tato část byla soustředěná na vztah antisystémovosti a teorie koalice. V první teoretické části byl také nastíněné teoretické podmínky, podle níž strany vstupují do politických koalic. Druhá část práce se věnovala analýze samotné strany s cílem zanalyzovat roli a pozici strany v německém stranickém systému. Analytická část se zabývala třemi druhy analyzování: deskriptivní, relační a kauzální analýzou. Deskriptivní analýza nastínila, to jak se strana programově profiluje. Relační analyzovala, jaká je vztahová perspektiva strany. Kauzální se pokusila vysvětlit výzkumné otázky: Jaká je příčina odlišné role a pozice strany na federální a regionální úrovni v SRN, zdali a proč má strana malý koaliční potenciál i přes poměrně širokou členskou základnu, zda tato strana byla nebo stále je antisystémovou, zdali a jak koaliční potenciál souvisí s pojmem antisystémovost. Dále byla v práci analyzována vnitřní struktura, přidružené organizace strany, postavení a role strany v příslušném politickostranickém systému, funkce strany a ideologie a programatika strany. Taktéž se analyzovaly klíčové volby, u kterých se poukázalo na vztah ostatních stran ke straně Die Linke a jejich postoj k otázce spolupráce s touto stranou.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was to discover the role and the position of the party and the reasons for its position in the German party system. The theoretical part provides the reader with the concept of antisystemicity along with the theory of coalition. This part was focused on the relationship between the theory of coalition and antisystemicity. In the first theoretical part the outline of theoretical conditions under which parties enter into political coalitions is also mentioned. The second part is devoted to the analysis of the party itself in order to analyze the role and the position of the party in the German party system. The concept of the coalition theory and the anti-system party was used. The analytical part deals with three types of analysis: descriptive, relational and causal analysis. Descriptive analysis outlines the programmatic profile of the party. The relational part analyzes the relational perspective of the party. The causal part tries to explain the research questions: What is the cause of the different role and the position of the party on the federal and regional level in Germany, whether and why the party has little potential of creating a coalition despite a relatively broad membership base, whether the Party was or still is an anti-systemic party, whether and how the potential of creation a coalition is linked with the concept of antisystemicity. Furthermore, this thesis analyzes the internal structure, affiliated organizations, the status and the role of the party in the relevant party system, the function, the ideology and the programmatic party. The key choices which refer to the relationship of other parties with the party Die Linke and their position to the issue of cooperation are also involved.
