Analysis of the crop production system in a selected agricultural enterprise

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá hodnocením udržitelnosti konvenčního způsobu hospodaření vybraného podniku pomocí metody SAGROS. Metoda SAGROS hodnotí udržitelnost systému ve 3 dimenzích a to: ekologické (agronomické), ekonomické a sociální. Vstupní data pro hodnocení jsou získána z agronomické a ekonomické evidence za období 2021-2023 (2020). Hospodaření zemědělského podniku v řepařské výrobní oblasti je hodnoceno s pomocí celkem 21 dílčích indikátorů. Zjištěné hodnoty indikátorů jsou posuzovány pomocí hodnotících funkcí nebo jsou porovnávány s reprezentativními daty pro danou problematiku. Výsledky provedených výpočtů a hodnocení jednotlivých indikátorů jsou prezentovány graficky s využitím jejich hodnotících funkcí. K celkovému hodnocení udržitelnosti je využit pavučinový (paprskový) graf umožňující přehledně identifikovat „slabá místa“ systému hospodaření. Na základě provedeného hodnocení jsou navrženy možnosti optimalizace způsobu hospodaření daného podniku.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the evaluation of the sustainability of the conventional way of farming of the selected enterprise using the SAGROS method. The SAGROS method evaluates the sustainability of the system in 3 dimensions: ecological (agronomic), economic and social. The input data for the assessment is obtained from agronomic and economic records for the period 2021-2023 (2020). The cropping practices of the agricultural enterprise located in the sugar beet production area is evaluated using a total of 21 indicators. The detected values of the indicators are assessed using evaluation functions or are compared with representative data for the given issue. The results of the performed calculations and evaluation of individual indicators are presented graphically using their evaluation functions. For the overall assessment of sustainability, a web (beam) graph is used, which enables clearly identified the "weak spots" of the cropping system. On the basis of the evaluation, options for optimizing the management of the given agricultural enterprise are proposed.
