Education of the mother of the child's burn scars care

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou popálenin. Zaměřuje se především na příčiny vzniku popáleninového traumatu a možných komplikací tohoto poranění v dětském věku. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část definuje základní pojmy použité v bakalářské práci. Zabývá se charakteristikou problematiky termických úrazů a vzniku následných komplikací, především jizevnatých kontraktur, které velmi často provázejí hojení popálenin. Závěr teoretické části popisuje jednotlivé fáze edukačního procesu. Praktická část je vytvořena na základě kazuistiky hospitalizovaného dětského pacienta a jeho doprovodu na oddělení popálenin. Získané data umožňují vytvořit edukační proces u popáleného dětského pacienta a jeho doprovodu. Hlavním cílem práce je na základě získaných teoretických poznatků zpracovat edukační proces. V závěru praktické části práce jsou uvedena doporučení, která mohou přispět k efektivnější realizaci ošetřovatelské péče poskytované rodiči popálených dětí o zhojené plochy v rámci prevence vzniku jizevnatých ploch.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is about the issue of burns. It focuses primarily on the causes of burn trauma and possible complications of this injury in childhood. The bachelor thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part defines the basic terms used in this bachelor thesis. It deals with the characteristics of thermal injuries and the occurrence of subsequent complications, especially cicatricial contractures, which very often accompany the healing of burns. The conclusion of the theoretical part describes the individual phases of the educational process. The practical part is created on the basis of a case report of a hospitalized child patient and his escort to the burns department at the hospital in Ostrava. The obtained data allow to create an educational process in a burned child patient and his escort. The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to elaborate an educational process based on the acquired theoretical knowledge. At the end of the practical part there are recommendations that can contribute to a more effective implementation of nursing care provided by parents of burned children on the healing of areas within the prevention of scar areas.
