Analysis of metals in oils by F/FG-AAS

Abstract:

Obsahem diplomové práce byla obecná charakteristika olejů a tuků, zmíněn je zde i výskyt kovů jako minoritních látek, konkrétně v živých systémech, potravinách a kosmetických přípravcích. V teoretické části je také pojednáno o přípravě vzorků pomocí rozkladu a analytických metodách sloužící k detekci kovů v olejích a tucích. Praktická část zahrnuje veškerou přípravu 23 vzorků olejů a tuků, včetně standardizace použitých roztoků kovů (pro Cu, Cr, Fe, Ni, Zn). Vzorky olejů a tuků byly podrobeny rozkladu kyselinou v uzavřeném systému pomocí mikrovlnného mineralizátoru. V dalším kroku byla proměřena koncentrace kovů u jednotlivých vzorků pomocí dvoupaprskového atomového absorpčního spektrofotometru GBC 933 AA. Získané hodnoty jsou uvedeny ve výsledkové části v tabulce 23 až 45, případně i příloze PIII této práce.

Abstract:

The content of the thesis was general characteristics of oils and fats, here is also mentioned the occurrence of the metals as a minor compounds, specifically in organisms, foodstuff and cosmetics. The theoretical part brings informations about preparation of the samples by mineralization and the analytical methods for detecting the presence of the metals in oils and fats. In the practical part is listed the preparation of 23 samples of oils and fats, including the standardization of solutions of the metals (for Cu, Cr, Fe, Ni, Zn). The oils and fats samples were subjected to microwave-assisted acid digestion in a closed-vessel system using the mineralizer. In the next step was measured the concentration of the metals for each sample by the dual beam atomic absorption spectrophotometer AA 933 GBC. Obtained values are provided in results in table 23 to 45, possibly also in the annex PII of this work.
