Intergenerational Solidarity of Secondary Schools Students

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou mezigeneračních vztahů adolescentní mládeže a seniorů. V úvodu práce je probrána problematika demografického stárnutí. V teoretické části je vysvětlen a popsán pojem generace a specifikováno rozdílné postavení starší a mladší generace ve společnosti. V práci se snažím objasnit význam pojmů: vztahy, solidarita, společnost, generace, senior. Cílem je snaha přiblížit pomocí těchto termínů danou problematiku. Dále osvětluji mezigenerační solidaritu z pohledu psychologie, sociologie, pedagogiky. Následující kapitoly teoretické části se věnují faktorům, jež ovlivňují mezigenerační solidaritu a významem mezigenerační solidarity pro společnost. V praktické části práce je provedeno kvantitativní výzkumné šetření s cílem zjistit, jak mládež nahlíží na postavení seniorů, stáří, mezigenerační soužití a solidaritu. Výzkumné šetření je rozděleno do čtyř tematických okruhů: mezigenerační vztahy, zájem a odpovědnost společnosti za mezigenerační vztahy, přínos starších lidí pro společnost a péče o seniory. Výzkum byl proveden prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření u studentů středních škol a gymnázií. Výsledky této práce mohou napomoci k představě o podobě budoucích vztahů mezi generacemi a osvětlit názory mladých na tuto problematiku.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on problems of intergenerational relationships of adolescent youth and seniors. In the introduction of thesis the problém of demographic ageing is disscussed. The term generation is explained and described in the theoretical part, as well as the specification of different position elderly and young generations. At my work I am trying to explain meaning of terms relationship, solidarity, society, generation, senior. The aim is through the terms to approach given problems. Then I explain intergenerational solidarity from the point of view of psychology, sociology, pedagogy. Following chapters are focused on factors that influence intergenerational solidarity and meaning of intergenerational solidarity for society. In practical part there si realized quantitative research survey with the aim to find out how the youth look on the status of seniors, age, intergenerational cohabitation and solidarity. The research survey is divided into four topical parts: intergenerational relationships, interest and responsibility of society for intergenerational relationship, benefit od elderly people for society and care of seniors. The research was realised through questionnaire survey among students of secondary schools and grammar schools. The results of the thesis can help to imagine the form of future relationships among generations and to explain opinions of youth on the problems.
