Psychological Care of Parents with Deafblind Child

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is deaf-blind children. It is focused on their development, followed by psychological care of this children and their family. It is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part deals with basic information about deaf-blindness ? definition, forms, causes of deaf-blindness, developmental aspects of deaf-blind child. It includes basic examination methods, differential diagnostic and communication system of deaf-blind individuals. It describes centers and schools dealing with deaf-blind children and adults. The practical part creates five case studies of deaf-blind children and interviewes with expert in processed topic

Abstract:

Predkladaná diplomová práca pojednáva o hluchoslepých deťoch. Je zameraná na ich vývoj, ďalej na psychologickú starostlivosť o ne a o ich rodiny. Prácu tvoria dve časti, teoretická a praktická. V teoretickej časti sa práca zaoberá základnými informáciami o hluchoslepote ? definíciami, formami, príčinami hluchoslepoty, vývojovými aspektami hluchoslepého dieťaťa. Obsahuje základné vyšetrovacie metódy, diferenciálnu diagnostiku a komunikačné systémy hluchoslepých jedincov. Približuje základné centrá a školy zaoberajúce sa hluchoslepými deťmi a dospelými. Praktickú časť tvorí 5 prípadových štúdií hluchoslepých detí a pološtrukturované rozhovory s odborníkmi na spracovávanú tému
