The financial impact of the optimization of logistic processes in the chosen company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou logistických procesů ve společnosti Nemocnice České Budějovice a.s., s cílem tyto procesy optimalizovat a dosáhnout tak snížení nákladů organizace. Text kvalifikační práce je rozvržen do dvou na sebe navazujících částí. Literární rešerše obsahuje souhrn poznatků z tuzemských i zahraničních pramenů, které se k řešené problematice logistických procesů úzce váží a definují tak elementární teoretická i metodologistická východiska ke zpracování analýzy, návrhu optimalizace a vyhodnocení dosažených výsledků. Praktická část kvalifikační práce se zaměřuje na analýzu současného stavu podpůrných podnikových procesů zabezpečujících materiálové toky. Za použití teorie omezení je v práci odhaleno úzké místo, které snižuje procesní průtok a efektivitu realizovaných aktivit. Na základě identifikovaného omezení je pak prostřednictvím Clark Wrightovy metody operačního výzkumu navržena optimalizace trasování vozového parku, vedoucí ke snížení logistických nákladů analyzovaného subjektu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of logistic processes at the company Hospital České Budějovice a.s. in order to optimize these processes and thus to reduce the costs of the organization. The text of the qualification work is divided into two consecutive parts. The literary research contains a summary of knowledge from Czech as well as foreign sources, which are closely related to the solved problems of logistic processes and define elementary theoretical and methodological bases for analyzing, optimizing and evaluating the achieved results. The practical part of the qualification thesis focuses on the analysis of the current state of supportive business processes ensuring material flows. By using the theory of contraints, a narrow space is revealed in the work, which reduces the process flow and efficiency of the implemented activities. Based on the identified limitation, it is then through Clark Wright´s Operational Research Methods proposed optimization of fleettracing, leading to a reduction in the logistical costs of the analyzed subject.
