Energy balance in electric traction

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá energetickou bilancí pro městskou hromadnou dopravu a možnostmi snížení spotřeby energie. Pro úseky napájecího vedení jsou posouzeny možnosti umístění akumulátorů energie pro absorbování brzdné energie a její využití pro rozjezd (rekuperace energie). Jsou posouzeny mechanické a elektrické akumulátory energie z hlediska vhodnosti pro tramvajovou trať. Výsledky teoretických výpočtů jsou aplikovány u Plzeňských městských dopravních podniků na konkrétní tramvajovou linku. Je zkoumána detekce zkratu v napájecím úseku. Je analyzováno oteplení sběrače proudu moderního vozidla na základě modelu oteplení sběrače v Matlab Simulink a výsledky porovnány s experimentem na reálném sběrači.

Abstract:

The work deals with energy balance in Urban Mass Transportation and with possibilities to reduce consumption of energy. The placement options of accumulators are assessed for the sections of the traction power line. The accumulator purpose is to absorb braking energy and it is used for acceleration of vehicle (recuperation of energy). Electrical and mechanical accumulators are compared from point of view usability in Tram line. The results of the theoretical calculations are applied to the tram line of Pilsner's transport Company with great elevation. The security field is examined in terms of correct detection during short circuits, when vehicles are regenerative braking. The temperature rise of the pantograph on modern vehicle is studied and model of this process is created in Matlab Simulink.
