The bachelor thesis deals with the modal verb dürfen from a contrastive point of view. The aim of the thesis is mainly to determine whether a verb exists in a context in a subjective or objective modality, classification of evidence and subsequent analysis of Czech equivalents. Bakalářská práce se zabývá modálním slovesem dürfen z kontrastivního hlediska. Cílem práce je především určení, zda se v daném kontextu vyskytuje sloveso v subjektivní nebo objektivní modalitě, roztřídění důkazů a následná analýza českých ekvivalentů.
