Determining somatotype and evaluation of muscle imbalance at speed kayakers

Abstract:

V předložené bakalářské práci výzkumného charakteru je u skupiny rychlostních kajakářů určen somatotyp a diagnostikována svalová dysbalance. Cílem této práce je určení somatotypu a vyhodnocení svalové dysbalance dle vybraných metod a kontrolních testů. K zjištění dat byly použity testy podle Horkela (2001) a standardizovanou metodou dle Heath-Cartera (1967) byl vyhodnocen somatotyp. Práce je rozdělena do několika částí. V teoretické části se věnuje charakteristice rychlostní kanoistiky, somatotypům a metodám určení somatotypu, druhy svalové nerovnováhy a jejich kompenzací. Závěrečnou část teoretických východisek tvoří charakteristika ontogeneze člověka se zaměřením na adolescentní období. Následně se věnuje samotnému výzkumu. Je zde uveden podrobný postup týkající se sběru dat a jejich zpracování. Dále jsou uvedeny výsledky měření a matematicko-statistické vyhodnocení, při kterém se u zkoušky zkrácení prsního svalu prokázala závislost na typu somatotypu.

Abstract:

In this thesis of the research character is at the group of speed kayakers determined the somatotype and diagnosed the muscle imbalance. The aim of this work is to determine somatotypes and to evaluate the muscle imbalance according to selected methods and control tests. For the research there were used tests according to Horkel (2001) and standardized methods by Heath-Carter (1967) and then the somatotype was evaluated. The thesis is divided into several parts. The theoretical part deals with characteristics of speed canoeing, somatotypes and methods of determining the somatotype, types of muscular imbalances and their compensations. The final part of the theoretical background is made of characterization of the human ontogeny focusing on the adolescent period. The main part is devoted to the research. There is detailed the procedure of the data acquisition and its processing. Then there are results of the measurement and mathematical-statistical evaluation, wherein the examination of the pectoral muscle shortering showed the dependency on the type of the somatotype.
