Tato práce se zabývá analýzou vztahů mezi bílými dětmi a černošskými chůvami v románu Černobílý svět (The Help) od Kathryn Stockettové. Práce se soustředí na problematickou pozici Stockettové jako bílé autorky, která se snaží líčit životy afroamerických pomocnic v domácnosti z jejich pohledu. The thesis analyzes the relationships between white children and their Black nannies in Kathryn Stockett´s novel "The Help". The thesis focues on the problematic position of Kathryn Stockett as a white author who tries to portray the lives of African American domestic workers from their perspective.
