Control unit for two-stroke multi-cylinder internal combustion engine

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis implements an electronic control unit of a two-stroke multi-cylinder internal combustion engine for the company MSR Engines. The control unit is based on the ARM Cortex-M4 processor and the K66 platform by NXP Semiconductors. The unit is based on feedforward control using lookup tables. The unit allows online programming of the table values. The output of the thesis is a fully functional unit capable of controlling the engine after connecting the needed input signals. The unit was created with respect to the requirements of MSR Engines.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca implementuje riadiacu jednotku dvojtaktného viacvalcového spaľovacieho motora pre spoločnosť MSR Engines. Riadiaca jednotka je založená na procesore ARM Cortex-M4 a platforme K66 od firmy NXP Semiconductors. Riadenie je založené na princípe doprednej väzby s využitím vyhľadávacích tabuliek. Jednotka poskytuje možnosť programovania hodnôt bez prerušenia jej činnosti. Výsledkom práce je funkčná jednotka schopná po pripojení vstupných signálov riadiť motor. Jednotka rešpektuje požiadavky zo strany spoločnosti MSR Engines.
