New marriage from the point of view of religious newlywed

Abstract:

Tato magisterská diplomová práce je zaměřena na mladé manželství z pohledu věřící novomanželky. Teoretická část pojednává o termínech mladá dospělost (zaměřuje se především na obecné charakteristiky tohoto období, specifika hledání partnera mladými dospělými, rodičovství a náboženské prožívání), manželství a rodina (zejména hodnotový význam rodiny, fáze manželství, představy mladých lidí o manželství a oblasti zájmu současné psychologie rodiny, podoba současné české rodiny a pojetí manželství v katolické církvi) a víra (včetně zdůraznění specifik katolické populace). Do výzkumného souboru bylo metodou sněhové koule zařazeno 13 žen, a to praktikujících katoliček do 30 let věku, které žijí v manželství trvajícím maximálně 7 let. Výzkum byl proveden za použití kvalitativní metodologie, technikou sběru dat byl polostrukturovaný rozhovor doplněný stručným dotazníkem. Rozhovory trvající přibližně 40 minut byly nahrávány na diktafon, následně přepsány a podrobeny kvalitativní analýze za využití otevřeného, axiálního a selektivního kódování. Otázky kladené při rozhovoru se týkaly zejména prožívání manželství a jeho hodnoty (důvody vedoucí k uzavření sňatku, význam manželství, popis manželství, rozdíl života za svobodna a nyní, obtížné zvykání, odlišnosti očekávání od manželství a reality), společného života manželů a víry (popis společného života, volný čas, domácí práce, společné rituály, vliv víry na každodennost, pomoc či omezení víry, odlišnost manželství věřících a nevěřících osob), dětí (místo dětí v manželství, plánování rodičovství), manželských problémů (charakter problémů v manželství, způsoby jejich řešení, řešení problémů se třetí osobou) a přípravy na manželství (forma přípravy a její vliv na současné manželství).

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on young marriage from the view of believing wife. The theoretic part discusses the terms young aduldhood (especially general characteristics of this period, the specifics of partner-searching in young aduldhood, paternity and religious experience), matrimony and family (with an accent on the value importancy of family, stages of marriage, ideas of young people about marriage and points of interest of today's family psychology, the form of contemporaneous Czech family and the matrimony in the catholic church) and faith (specific outlines of catholic population is subjoined). Thirteen women, catholics in the age under 30 years, living in matrimony not longer than 7 years, were selected into the research sample by the snow-ball technique. The qualitative methodology was used, information were conquisted by the semistructured interview and a brief questionnaire. Every interview took about 40 minutes and was recorded, re-typed and submitted to the qualitative analysis (to the opened, axial and selective coding). The questions refered to the experience of being married and the value of marriage (the reasons for getting married, the importance of marriage, the description of marriage, differences between the life of a unmarried and married woman, difficult changes, the difference between expectations of marriage and the reality), the common life of the couple and the faith (the description of the common life, free time, housework, common rituals, the impact of the faith on the everyday life, the help or the restrictions of the faith, the difference between the matriomony of believing and unbelieving persons), children (the place of the children in the matrimony, the planning of paternity), the matrimonial problems (the character of matrimonial problems, the ways how to solve them, solving problems with the third person) and the preparation for marriage (the form of the preparation and its impact on the contemporary marriage).
