Tato práce seznamuje s nejvýznamnějšími koncepcemi teorie společenské smlouvy v období 17. - 18. století (pojetí T. Hobbese, J. Locka, J.-J. Rousseaua), a dále v období 20. století, tj. období jejího znovuoživení (J. Rawls, R.M. Dworkin). This work introduces the major concepts of the theory of social contract in the period of the 17th -18th century (the concept of T. Hobbes, J. Locke, J.-J. Rousseau), and then in the period of the 20th century, i.e. the period of its revival (J. Rawls, R.M. Dworkin).
