Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Interkulturní komunikace v pracovním týmu“ pojednává o motivaci k práci týmu složeného z Čechů a Kostaričanů dvou generací, X a Y.Práce je dělena na dvě hlavní části – na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Součástí teoretické části práce je rozbor motivačních teorií a vymezení základních pojmů z problematiky pracovní motivace. Dále jsou definovány pojmy tým, týmová spolupráce a role v týmu. Jsou vyjmenovány způsoby vedení týmu a popsány vlastnosti team leadera. Součástí této části je také specifikace rozdílných kultur, české a kostarické, a rozbor problematiky generace X a Y. V praktické části práce jsou analyzovány rozdíly mezi pracovníky z české a kostarické kultury a také porovnávány rozdílnosti pracovníků z generací X a Y. Součástí praktické části práce je návrh, jak vést tým složený z Čechů a Kostaričanů těchto generací a jaké vlastnosti by měl mít team leader takového týmu. Následně jsou uvedeny možné přístupy k řešení problémů, které by mohly při kooperaci dvougeneračního česko-kostarického týmu vzniknout na základě rozdílných přístupů k práci obou generací a kultur.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis "Intercultural Communication in Working Team" deals with the work motivation problematics of a two-generation (X and Y) Czech – Costa Rican team. The thesis is divided into two main parts – the theoretical part and the practical part.The theoretical part comprises an analysis of motivation theories and definitions of basic terms relating to work motivation. Furthermore, the terms as team, teamwork and team roles are explained. The ways of team management are listed afterwards and the characteristics of a team leader are described. The specifications of different cultures, Czech and Costa Rican, and the definition of generation X and Y are also covered in this part. The differences between Czech and Costa Rican employees and also a comparison of differences between the X and the Y generations are investigated in the practical part of the thesis. The practical part also embodies a proposal for leading a Czech – Costa Rican team composed of forenamed generations, the appropriate characteristics of a team leader are herewith described. The applicable approaches to problem solving in the teamwork of two-generation Czech-Costa Rican team are defined taking into account the different attitudes towards work of these two generations and cultures.
