Financial analysis of the company as a basis for assessing the financial situation

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Finanční analýza podniku jako podklad pro hodnocení finanční situace se zaměřuje na finanční analýzu společnosti, zabývající se dovozem osobních a užitkových vozů do České republiky, v období let 2006 až 2010. V teoretické části je definován pojem finanční analýzy. Dále jsou představeni její uživatelé a zdroje, ze kterých jsou v průběhu zpracovávání čerpány informace. Speciální pozornost je věnována zásadním metodám finanční analýzy, které umožňují posoudit finanční situaci podniku. Je rozebrána horizontální a vertikální analýza, jednotliví poměroví ukazatelé a vybraní zástupci predikčních modelů. V praktické části je teorie uplatněna v praxi. Nejprve je představena zvolená společnost, která je podrobena analýze prostřednictvím absolutních a poměrových ukazatelů. Dále je k posouzení finančního zdraví využito bankrotních a bonitních modelů.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis Financial analysis of the company as a basis for assessing financial situation is focused on the financial analysis of the company engaged in import passenger cars and light commercial vehicles to the Czech Republic between years 2006 and 2010. In the theoretical part, there is a definition of the term of financial analysis. Then there are specified its users and resources from which we extracted information during the processing. Special attention is devoted to fundamental methods of financial analysis that allow evaluating the financial situation. Then the horizontal and vertical analysis are examined, individual ratio indicators and chosen representatives of the prediction models. In the practical part, the theory is applied in practice. At first, the chosen company is introduced and then subjected to analysis by absolute and ratio indicators. This is followed by assessment of the financial health for which bankruptcy and profitability models were used.
