Painting as a Concept

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce Obraz jako Koncept vychází ze silného osobního prožitku. Jedná se konkrétně o napětí, které může nastat v okamžiku, kdy dojde ke střetu vnitřní přípravy na důležitou životní zkoušku s vnějším rušivým komerčním elementem. V písemné části nastiňuji celý myšlenkový proces i praktickou realizaci děl. Závěrečným výstupem jsou tři plátna, na nichž za pomoci aplikace falešného zlata rekonstruuji komerční pohyblivé obrazy hudebního videoklipu. Tyto obrazy tak převádím do polohy mého subjektivního vnímání.

Abstract:

My thesis Picture as a Concept is based on a strong personal experience. Specifically, the tension that can arise when there is a conflict of internal preparation for important life test with external disruptive commercial element. The written part outlines the whole thinking process and the practical realization of the works. The final outcome are three canvases, where the commercial moving pictures of music video are reconstructed, with application of fake gold. This way, these images are transformed into the position of my subjective perception.
