Práce představuje čtenáři poměrně neznámý subkulturní fenomén straight edge, a snaží se dohledat jeho environmnetální potenciál a přesahy. Lidé, kteří přijali etiku straight edge, neužívají drogy, nekouří, nepijí alkohol, a snaží se žít aktivním životem v rámci hardcorové komunity i mimo ni. This thesis presents quite an unknown subcultural phenomenon called straight edge and tries to underline its environmental potential and connotations. The people who have claimed the ethics of straight edge do not do drugs, do not smoke, do not drink alcohol and try to live an active life within a hardcore community and beyond it.
