Niniejsza praca ma na celu zaprezentowanie działalności Biblioteki Regionalnej Karwina. W pierwszym rozdziale ukazano historię bibliotek w świecie. Drugi rozdział traktuje o historii i współczesności Biblioteki Regionalnej Karwina. W dalszej kolejności opisano usługi biblioteczne.
