Cílem bakalářské práce je zmapovat okolnosti zrodu moderního arabského divadla v 19. století. První část je věnována lokáním divadelním formám, které existovaly na území arabsky mluvících zemí (loutkové divadlo, stínové divadlo, lidoví vypravěči, lidové divadlo živých herců). Abstract:
The thesis deals with theatrical forms that existed in the Arabic speaking countries before the beginning of the modern Arab drama in the 19th century. The first part is devoted to local theatre forms (puppet theatre, shadow theatre, folk storytellers, folk theatre live actors).
