The "Meistergang"-poetry of Iglau

Abstract:

The main task of this bachelor thesis is comparing three levels of a given topic. The first level is a general historical-literary development in the period of Renaissance and humanism with the special regard to particularities of medieval towns and guild companies founding so-called Meistersang schools. The second level is comparing the foundation and progress of Meistersang schools in the historical area of Germany and the parallel development in the area of Bohemia and Moravia. The third level is monitoring specific activities, regulations, and providing a survey of particular types of literary relics of the Meistersang school in Jihlava, which as the only one of its kind in this area achieved a longtime existence, and left behind rich heritage in the literary form. Jihlava created ideal conditions for the foundation of the Meistersang school on the basis of its legal and business contacts with a number of above all South German towns, and acted as an intermediary in cultural relationships between Germany and Moravia. The direct influence of the Nuremberg Meistersang school can be proved by left literary works of art and archive documents; the works show similar literary development and quality. The final part of the thesis focuses on particular literary texts of the Meistersang school in Jihlava, and includes also the proposal of a further research of still unexplored influence of Jihlava on Czech or Moravian literature as the case may be.

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je porovnání tří rovin daného tématu. První rovinou je obecný historicko ? literární vývoj v období renesance a humanismu s přihlédnutím na specifika středověkých měst a cechovních organizací zakládající tzv. mistrovské pěvecké školy. Druhou rovinou je porovnání vzniku a průběhu mistrovských škol na historickém území Německa s obdobným vývojem na území Čech a Moravy. Třetí rovinou je zmapování konkrétní činnosti, pravidel a přehled jednotlivých druhů literárních památek mistrovské pěvecké školy v Jihlavě, která jako jediná svého druhu zaznamenala na našem území dlouhou existenci a zanechala po sobě i bohatý odkaz v literární podobě. Jihlava na základě svých právních a obchodní kontaktů k řadě především jihoněmeckých měst vytvořila v období reformace ideální podmínky pro vznik mistrovské pěvecké školy a působila jako prostředník kulturních vazeb mezi Německem a Moravou. Zanechaná literární díla a archivní podklady dokazují přímý vliv norimberské mistrovské školy, díla vykazují obdobný literární vývoj i kvalitu. Závěr práce je zaměřen na konkrétní literární texty jihlavské školy a obsahuje i návrh na další výzkum doposud ještě neprobádaného vlivu Jihlavy na českou, resp. moravskou literaturu.
