Development and support of co-working centers and maker spaces as tools of creative economy: Brno case study

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá přiblížením informací o coworkingových centrech a maker spaces, celkově kreativitě a kreativní ekonomice nejen v České republice. Úvodní kapitoly jsou zaměřeny na vymezení jednotlivých pojmů včetně kreativní ekonomiky a jejich nástrojů a také zde popisuji využití tvůrčích schopností na pracovním trhu. Navazující kapitoly jsou věnovány historii a také vlivům, rozvoji a bariérám kreativity. Jsou zde definované přístupy ke studiu a možnosti veřejné podpory. V praktické části mé bakalářské práce jsem zkoumala jednotlivá centra v Brně v rámci případové studie. Popsaná jsou jednotlivá centra v rámci jejich rozmístění a typologie. Zajímavým tématem jsou kreativní vouchery, o kterých se můžeme dočíst v předposlední kapitole.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis deals with approximating information about coworking centers and maker spaces, overall creativity and creative economy not only in the Czech Republic. The opening chapters are aimed at defining the different concepts, including the creative economy and their tools, and I also describe the use of creative skills in the labour market. Follow-up chapters are devoted to history as well as influences, development and barriers to creativity. There are defined approaches to study and possibilities for public support. In the practical part of my bachelor thesis, I examined individual centers in Brno as part of a case study. The various centres within their distribution and typology are described. An interesting topic is creative vouchers, which we can read about in the penultimate chapter.
