The view of the public majority on the inclusion of people with mental disabilities into the local community in the Šluknov Hook.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce "Pohled většinové veřejnosti na začleňování lidí s mentálním postižením do místní komunity ve Šluknovském výběžku" je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části práce je vysvětlen pojem mentální retardace s popisem jednotlivých stupňů mentálního postižení. Jsou zde popsány postoje společnosti k lidem s postižením od počátku vývoje lidstva v závislosti na kultuře a historickém období. Práce se dále zaměřuje na problematiku integrace lidí s mentálním postižením, na jejich práva a seznamuje s novými přístupy k těmto lidem. V praktické části je charakterizováno prostředí výzkumu, který zjišťuje postoje a názory většinové společnosti na začleňování lidí s mentálním postižením do místní komunity. Jsou zde vyhodnocena data získaná průzkumem, který probíhal formou dotazníkového šetření ve Šluknovském výběžku. Cílem průzkumu bylo zjistit překážky a slabiny při integraci a zjistit posun v přijímání těchto lidí do společnosti.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis "The view of the majority of the public on the inclusion of people with mental disabilities into the local community in the Šluknov region," is divided into two parts. The theoretical part explains the concept of mental retardation with the description of the various degrees of mental disability. It describes the attitudes of society towards people with disabilities since the beginning of human development based on culture and the historical period. Furthermore, this thesis focuses on the issues of integration of people with mental disabilities, on their rights, and introduces new approaches to these people. The practical part describes the reseach environment, which detects the attitudes and opinions of the majority of society in the inclusion of people with mental disabilities into the local community. Also, it evaluates data from the questionnaire conducted in the Šluknov region. The aim of the research was to find out the obstacles and weaknesses of integration and to detect a shift in the acceptance of these people into society.
