Comparison of the "Figure Drawing" method with behavioral assessment of preschool children.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o předškolním dítěti a jeho kresbě lidské postavy. Teoretická část začíná charakteristikou předškolního dítěte, přibližuje jeho psychomotorický, kognitivní a sociálně-emoční vývoj, a končí dětskou kresbou zaměřenou speciálně na kresbu postavy, její stádia, emoční projevy a diagnostiku. Závěr teoretické části popisuje konkrétní test kresby lidské postavy od Šturmy a Vágnerové (2010) T-76, čímž plynule navazuje na výzkumnou část, která je zpracována kvantitativním přístupem. Vyhodnocuje se v ní test kresby postavy a srovnává s dotazníkovým šetřením zaměřeným na behaviorální posouzení každého dítěte. Závěrem celé práce je vyhodnocení těchto metod, doplněné o další zajímavosti vyplývající z kreseb dětí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is about a preschool child and his drawing of the human figure. The theoretical part begins with the characteristics of the preschool child, introduces his motor development, cognitive and social-emotional, and ends with the child's drawing, focusing specifically on the drawing of the figure, its stages, emotional manifestations and diagnostics. The conclusion of the theoretical part describes a specific test of human figure drawing by Šturma and Vágnerová (2010) T-76, thus smoothly connecting to the research part, which is treated in a quantitative approach. It evaluates the human figure drawing test and compares it with a questionnaire survey focused on the behavioural assessment of each child. The whole thesis concludes with an evaluation of these methods, supplemented by other interesting findings arising from the children's drawings.
