This thesis aims to characterise extraordinary remedial measures as defined by the Civil Procedure Code. The first chapter deals with a brief description of regular remedial measures and extraordinary relief measures. Cieľom práce je charakteristika mimoriadnych opravných prostriedkov podľa Občianskeho súdneho poriadku. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na stručné vymedzenie opravných prostriedkov riadnych a mimoriadnych. Druhá, tretia a štvrtá kapitola sa konkrétne zaoberajú dovolaním, obnovou konania a mimoriadnym dovolaním, ich aplikáciou a špecifikami.
