Approaches to the Introduction of the Linear and Quadratic Function at Different Levels of Education

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce řeší problematiku zavedení lineární a kvadratické funkce na základních a středních školách. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části – teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část vychází ze studia odborné literatury, shrnuje vysokoškolské poznatky a je doplněna o řešené příklady. V praktické části jsou porovnávány tři učebnice matematiky pro základní školy a tři učebnice pro střední školy. Text je doplněn o ilustrativní obrázky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis addresses the problematics of the introduction of the linear and quadratic functions at primary and secondary schools. It is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is based on a study of academic literature and summarises knowledge at the university level of education. Arithmetical problems are solved as well. In the practical part three different lower and three different upper secondary books of mathematics are compared and contrasted. There are also illustrative pictures in the text.
