Výzkum této práce mapuje postoje a názory japonské vlády a veřejnosti o trestu smrti. Prostřednictvím těchto stanovisek jsou analyzovány možné příčiny neměnnosti situace v tomto systému. The research of this thesis focuses on examining the attitudes of the Japanese government and public on capital punishment. Through these attitudes possible causes for constancy of the situation in the death penalty system are analyzed.
