The importance of interaction with a literary work for the development of a child's reading competence

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá aspekty významu interakce dítěte s literárním dílem a jakými faktory na jedince působí a v čem ho rozvíjí. Bude řešena otázka významu procesu hlubokého čtení i podpory čtenářství se zaměřením na věkovou kategorii dětí mezi 10. až 12. rokem, a to za pomoci porovnávání výzkumů dětské čtenářské gramotnosti. Práce představuje klíčové pojmy vztahující se přímo k řešené problematice. Práce charakterizuje cílovou skupinu čtenářů a jakými možnými způsoby je četba přímo či nepřímo ovlivňuje. Téma je reflektováno z perspektivy tří prostředí (rodina, škola, knihovna), přičemž je akcentováno prostředí knihovny, pojaté pohledem knihovníka pracujícím s dětskými čtenáři.

Abstract:

The present Bachelor's thesis deals with aspects of the importance of a child's interaction with a literary work and what factors influence and develop the individual. The importance of the process of deep reading and the promotion of reading will be addressed, focusing on the age group of children between 10 and 12 years old, using comparative research on children's literacy. The paper introduces key concepts directly related to the issue at hand. The thesis characterizes the target group of readers and in what possible ways reading directly or indirectly affects them. The topic is reflected from the perspective of three environments (family, school, library), with an emphasis on the library environment from the perspective of a librarian working with children's readers.
