Abstract:

Diplomová práce Swap se zabývá analýzou problematiky moderního výměnného obchodu, označovaného jako swapování. Cílem bylo odhalit nedostatky současných možností a navrhnout řešení ve formě nové služby a mobilní aplikace. Autor se zaměřil na produktový management, který zahrnuje tvorbu byznys modelu a specifikace. Vizuální identita a návrh uživatelského rozhraní vznikl ve spolupráci s designérkou. Zvolené postupy přibližuje zaznamenaný rozhovor. V implementační části práce je popsáno technické řešení mobilní aplikace pro systém Android. To obsahuje návrh architektury, použitých knihoven i popis překážek, které bylo nutno vyřešit. Autor práce se zhostil role programátora a použil architekturu založenou na MVVM využívající prvky Clean Architecture. Zaměřil se na pokročilé vlastnosti jazyka Kotlin a moderní knihovny pro navigaci a práci s uživatelským rozhraním. Pro backend byla využita služba Firebase od společnosti Google. Praktickým výstupem je aplikace Swapni to v podobě minimálního životaschopného produktu (MVP). Ta byla publikována s předběžným přístupem v obchodě Google Play. Pokyny pro instalaci aplikace jsou uvedeny v závěru práce. Autor zde také přiznává, že bylo velice náročné zastupovat v týmu roli programátora i produktového manažera.

Abstract:

The thesis Swap deals with an analysis of a problem of modern barter trade referred to as swapping. The aim was to reveal shortcomings of current possibilities and to design a solution in the form of a new service and a mobile application. The author focused on product management, which includes the creation of a business model and specification. The visual identity and design of the user interface were created in collaboration with the designer. The recorded conversation illustrates the chosen procedures. The implementation part of the thesis describes a technical solution of the mobile application for the Android system. This includes a design of an architecture, the libraries used, and a description of obstacles that needed to be addressed. The author took on the role of a programmer and used an architecture based on MVVM using elements of Clean Architecture. He focused on the advanced features of the Kotlin language and modern libraries for navigation and working with a user interface. The Firebase service by Google was used for the backend. The practical output is the Swapni to application in the form of a minimum viable product (MVP). It was published with preliminary access in the Google Play store. Instructions for installing the application are given at the end of the work. The author also admits that it was very challenging to represent the role of programmer and also product manager in the team.
