Data slavery

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Datové otroctví“ se věnuje novodobému fenoménu, který se týká všech aktivních i pasivních uživatelů internetu. Na začátku práce jsou popsány vybrané přístupy ke svobodě. Po této kapitole následuje popis otroctví jako opak svobody. Shrnutí otroctví zahrnuje tabulku, která slouží jako vizualizace zjištěných informací pro lepší přehlednost. Práce pokračuje částí zabývající se daty a jejich sběrem, jako úvod do problematiky datového otroctví. V kapitole datové otroctví je popsáno několik zahraničních definic fenoménu. Charakteristické prvky otroctví a shrnující tabulka jsou využity v komparační analýze. Výsledkem analýzy je odpověď na otázky, zda existuje datové otroctví a k jakému společenskému zařazení se fenomén nejvíce blíží. Výsledky jsou vizuálně zpracovány do přehledné tabulky charakteristických prvků tradičního otroctví, nevolnictví, poddanství a občana s datovým otroctvím.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis "Data Slavery" is devoted to a modern phenomenon that affects all active and passive users of the Internet. At the beginning of the thesis, selected approaches to freedom are described. This chapter is followed by a description of slavery as the opposite of freedom. The summary of slavery includes a table that serves as a visualization of the information found for better clarity. The thesis continues with a section dealing with data and data collection as an introduction to data slavery. The data slavery chapter describes several foreign definitions of the phenomenon. Characteristic elements of slavery and a summary table are used in the comparative analysis. As a result of the analysis, the questions of whether data slavery exists and what social classification the phenomenon most closely resembles are answered. The results are visually processed into a clear table of the characteristics of traditional slavery, serfdom, bondage, and citizen with data slavery.
